Day of the Dead Columbus Festival

The Day of the Dead is a free cultural and educational family festival to celebrate life by remembering the ones that have departed. We celebrate by creating altars and placing offerings in their honor such as food, water, incense, candles, flowers, and personal items. You will experience Mariachi music, Mexican folklore dance, Aztec Dancers for the ceremony, Calaveritas poetry with OSU, panel discussion about why Day of the Dead is celebrated, authentic food, vendors, an Art Exhibition, children’s activities and face paints.
